Join us for the Release of our Barnwood Reserve Farmhouse India Pale Ale
Join us January 23rd from 6 – 8pm for the release of a new limited edition Barnwood Reserve beer. This time it’s a Farmhouse India Pale Ale. This IPA was fermented with a Belgian yeast strain and then barrel aged with wild yeast for over a year in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. The beer has bright notes of citrus layered with funky complexity. 22 FL OZ. Alc. 7% by Vol.
Notes from our Head Brewer Pete Koelsch:
“I dry hopped the beer with a fresh dose of hops. By dry hopping just before bottling the beer will have a fresher hop character that compliments the aged complexity of the beer. I used Mosaic, Denali and Falconers flight hops in that hop addition. The barrels were sourced from a California winery. They are American white oak barrels which help Cabernet for 5 years before we acquired them.”
Come meet our Head Brewer Pete Koelsch and enter our rafftle for the chance of winning a prize.
